Dr. Brien Holden, Professor at the School of Optometry and Vision Science at University New South Wales Australia was a global champion for eye care and vision research. He is a world leader in eye health and vision correction research, education and public health. We would like to express our sorrow and sincere condolences to all optometrists around the world. RECOGNISING GLAUCOMA EMERGENCIES

Consultant ophthalmologist Dilani Siriwardena discussed the most common emergencies that can arise in glaucoma patients. Gracing the Main Stage on Monday (February 9), Ms Siriwardena provided a clinical overview of the sight-threatening glaucoma emergencies that can present in routine practice.
